In order to ensure that the work can be printed with the best quality, we inform you of the minimum characteristics that a file must meet for proper processing, to obtain the best results in printing.
Work File Conditions
The file containing the final artwork must be in PDF format.
The file must contain at least 3 mm of bleed to prevent final guillotine cuts from affecting the design.
The color format of the file must be in CMYK.
The file quality must be at least 300 DPI.
The recommended maximum color coverage (% TAC) is between 200%-220%
Due to the characteristics of our papers, we cannot guarantee correspondence with ICC color profiles.
We do not recommend that the final artwork be contained within an outer frame or that text and/or any graphic element exist within a safety margin of 2 to 5 mm from the cut line towards the interior.
In case post-printing operations such as cutting or creasing are required, the file must contain these vector lines in a separate layer and/or in a special color separation (spot color).
Texts must be outlined and images linked or embedded in the file.
We recommend making a sample test to ensure that the printing results are as desired.
Grupo Posta will not be responsible for defective results as a consequence of the final artwork sent by the client, nor for color variations that may arise from the use of our papers.
Color Warning
If upon opening a file it is detected that the color format is not correct, we will convert it to CMYK. These conversions can affect the original color. Therefore, we recommend that you previously verify the file to be sent, especially that the inks are in the correct format.
If you want to convert a Pantone to CMYK, we recommend that you request a physical color print proof. As Pantone colors vary depending on the interpretation of colors made by different machines in the market.
Among our papers, we can find different shades of white. Therefore, the final color may vary depending on the type of paper you order.
